For those who don’t have a measuring tape at home you take a ribbon or flexible piece of wire and then measure it with a ruler.

Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, ensuring it's straight and level across your back.

Measure at the narrowest part of your waist (typically just above your belly button), without pulling the tape too tight

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom.

Measure from the top of your waistband down the outside of your leg to the desired length.

Measure from the top of your shoulder down to where you want the hem to fall. Use a cloth measuring tape for the most accurate results and ensure it's snug but not tight.
